So I decided to share a little more about myself right now. For the majority of my school career I didn't have a clue what I wanted to do. If anyone asked, I'd say I wanted to be a writer, because who would want to stand there and read junk just prove I was good. you know? And yes, there was a point in my life where I loved writing so much I would have loved to do it but then I realized how tedious the whole process is. So I spent my high school career with not a clue what I wanted to do. I knew who I was, I just didn't know how I'd fit into the career world. Well then one day while I was at a Punchline concert in Providence it hit me, I want to be in the entertainment world. Everyday, and everywhere I am surrounded by various forms of entertainment and art, and I love very second of it. I'd love to be the person to help some talented individual reach all of their dreams, and this is partially due to the fact that one of my best friends is an amazing ballet dancer. I love seeing how excited he gets over every opportunity given to him, and I want to do that for someone else. So halfway through last year I officially decided when I grow up I'm going to be one of those coldhearted, greedy, skeezy entertainment people. Just kidding, but along with this commitment comes a few goals, I have set for myself. So here they are:
~Complete the Disney Careerstart Program (obviously)
~Attend Character auditions
~Recieve a Ducktorate
~Double major in Entertainment Management and Business Administration
~Study Abroad in Australia
~Do a Disney PI
~Get my MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business with the concentration of Entertainment, Media and Technology.
~Travel the World (especially England, Paris, and Sydney)
~Be at least one person's talent manager
~Work for Disney as a Salaried position
~Live in LA
~See every great part of this country
Now, these goals and dreams of mine are only aspirations that I know could change or be hindered at any time. But, these goals are a great part of who I am, and who I aim to be and a large reason for my decision to enter the Disney Careerstart Program. Thanks for reading!
